Emergency First Aid at Work
(Half Day)
The HSE are ‘strongly recommending’ that each First Aider undertakes an annual skills update / refresher.
This half day refresher includes skill development on the following topics:
• Scene Assessment and Barrier Use
• Primary Assessment Primary Assessment
• One rescuer CPR
• Serious Bleeding Management
• Shock Management
• Spinal Injury Management
• Conscious Choking Adult
On completion participants will receive a certification card.
Course Schedule
The First Aid at Work Refresher programme is typically scheduled over a half day (3-4 hours).
